P505 Idle Air Control Circuits Error Msg
98 Chreokee 4.0
Starting this morning it had no idle speed. Off idle it would run. Testing I got a P505 code, Idle Air Control Circuit.
Once warm idle worked and was correct.
I replaced the IAC with a known good one.
I still get the P505 error code so I assume a wiring or other control problem. Yes, the codes were cleared. I have yet to cool down for another cold start.
Any suggestions where to look or check next?
