Default p0753 p0758 questions

Ok 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4.0. I have searched and searched these codes. Lots of info on them but every post never has someone being able to fix it. Codes again are p0753 and p0758 shift solenoid B electrical. I have read it could be a bad TPS which i just put a new one in and didnt fix it. I have read it could be a bad NSS i tried to get it off but it wouldnt wiggle off. Any other suggestions? I mean should i try to get the NSS out and clean it up or should i just order the whole solenoid kit and hope to god thats it? Thanks in advance

Is the transmission shifting through all the gears correctly, not skipping any or doing sluggish shifts?

Have you verified there is power and good ground to the TCU? It stays in 4th if the solenoids aren't operating. If your TCU is functioning it does sound like you have a solenoid or harness problem. Check the solenoid resistance @ the TCU connector to verify.

Ok so I changed all solenoids and it was running great for about 50 miles. Check engine is off and was shifting all gears and starting off in first. Well it starywd slipping out of gear at 35 and will not go back into gear u til rpms get really low or I manually shift to 3rd. Any ideas?

Ok well it finally threw some codes p0756 and p0758

P0756 shift solenoid b stuck open
p0758 shift solenoid b voltage

I just replaced all solenoids what could this possibly be? I have also put in a new TPS before i changed solenoids to make sure it wasnt that.

could it be a wiring issue where it is not making the circuit complete there for keeping it open. check to see if the transmission relay is working correctly.

I will check more in the daylight but everything looked good when i was changing the solenoid. I will have to drop the pan again because it is leaking a bit so i will change the gasket. Would that cause in problems having a leak? Small leak at that?

Let it cool off again and see what happens. If it shifts fine when it's cold you might have gotten a bum solenoid.
Did you check over the harness for signs of damage? Check the supply voltage and ground at the TCU?
A small pan drip shouldn't do that unless you've lost a substantial amount of fluid.

Ok i just tried to drive it to see if it would shift better cold. It is not any better but the check engine lights are off. Still no 4th gear. I checked fluid in Neutral and it is a little overfilled would this cause it?

Define 'a little' lol. Having it overfilled will cause issues, certainly no harm in draining it down to the correct level and seeing what happens.
Have you ever adjusted the TV cable? Might be worth a shot as well.
