Overheating with AC on

Overheating with AC on
Just recently recharged my A/C and it was working great for about 2 weeks. Now when I engage the A/C my temp gage maxes out after about 5 - 10 minutes. Its not gradual either, it will hold normal temp for a few minutes then just mac out in one fluid movement. If the A/C is not on, then I have zero cooling issues.
Any ideas?
