Ok so recently my 92 cherokee has been putting out a lot of steam that smells like radiator fluid from the front right of the car. When i look under all i can see is the steam coming from a small area of my radiator. Is this because there is a leak in the radiator? How can i fix this?

When you say right, passenger? My 96 has the valve there to dump the fluid. Make sure it is closed all the way. My radiator had apin hole leak in that area, twice! Eventually it got larger with pressure and had to replace it. I have seen, supposedly good ones for $50 on CL. My new one was $120 I believe, Autozone.

It could be a leaky radiator. It also could be that the end of the hose (where it meets the radiator) is old and brittle and cracked, causing the leak. So I'd start by checking the hose. If not, the radiator is leaking. Bite the bullet and replace it, do NOT use any sort of stop leak product, as it will end up clogging other components of the cooling system. Heck, while you're at it, with the coolant drained and replacing the radiator, you may as well start replacing other components of the cooling system (water pump, thermostat, radiator cap) if they haven't been replaced.
