Overhead Console Questions
 

Just jumped and ordered an overhead console for my 2000 sport. Got the right one this time, out of a 2001 classic. It does not come with the wiring or bracket. I know I have to hunt down a harness.
First question: Do any of you think it will be possible to build my own bracket. If so, do you have any measurements I could use?
Second Question: I am aware that it will display the temp, fuel economy, distance to empty, direction, etc. If I got a wiring harness and plugged this in, will it give me all this info? Or will I also have to hunt down various sensors for all this stuff... The console was tested and works properly, I'm just not sure how the computers in the console would obtain all this info in a Jeep that did not come with a console...
