over heating?
I have 96' cherokee 2.5tdi.
I have just changed the head gasket following the failure of a couple of caps in the sides of the heads. All went very well and once the diesel leaks were resolved she started on the button.
I have been using her around the farm with a trailure and lots of hill climbing. She has started to over heat (gauge @125C) bottle not boiling though.
Their are two hoses running across the top of the engine in clips one runs from the water pumps housing and one from the radiator lower house branch. They both run to a one way valve operated via a vacuum hose (5mm dia) could this be installed the wrong way and would it cause problems.
Secondly while investigating this their are a number of open hoses to the right hand side of the engine below a bottle located on the bulk head. Can anyone confirm if this is the Heater matrix conns or air conditioning compressor (removed).
Many thanks
