Opinions on this Alignment Spec Sheet?
I just had the 96 XJ aligned this morning. This is the 'AFTER' settings that were done. I am wondering what those of you that have experience with XJ alignments might think of the final settings and of the CAMBER on the FRONT LEFT?
My XJ has around 2.5 inches lift front and rear. New 30x9.50x15's put on this morning too. Don't want to start wearing badly these new tires if these settings are wrong.
It's a RHD Cherokee also.
Also ... these guys put 42 lbs of air COLD in my new tires. Cooper Discoverer AT3 Load Range C 30x9.50x15. What do you think of that pressure for street driving?
Thanks for your help.

Looks like the spec is to -08, and it has -1. Doesn't sound horrible. Pretty sure it's not adjustable. Ball joints and wheel bearings were checked?

He said there was "no movement" on the ball joint, but I don't know if the guy checked for bearing problems?
Which front bearings would cause this type of reading?
Thanks.

You got me how rear Camber could be very out, short of a bent axle.
See what others say. My "new to me" 90 has issues with the front camber as well.

Ya know .... I wonder if that guy knew how to setup the machine? IT was done on a Hunter machine with an awesome display of what was going on. Don't know what model Hunter .... but yeah, what the heck would the rear axle have TOE for????

With out really knowing, I'm gonna guess the .15 of (toe) on the rear could be ignored. Even it it's not normal, it just aint squat! Someone feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken there.
Your camber numbers bug me. (my camber bugs me too). On the one hand, .2 of an inch aint much, (1 on the front, .08 being max), But around 0 is the goal I think, so the .8 is already out there.

All of those measurements are in DEGREES. So that Left Front wheel is out -1 degree. Not inches.
Still its twice the allowable range limit. I'm wondering if an adjustable ball joint will allow me to get it back to spec?
Anybody know?
Thanks.

I stand 1/2 corrected! Castor is always in degrees. Every toe spec I've seen is in inches, But camber...for my 90 is indeed shown in degrees, although I've seen it in inches for Dodge (IIRC).
So you may well have -1 degree, where -.8 is the max. (camber on that left front) Not sure what .2 degrees adds up to, hope mine is that close though.

Mine is pretty similar to yours. Everything on mine is within spec except for the camber.
I don't have any issues, but I've been told by companies to look into adjustable ball joints. I don't have any play in my wheels.
