OK SO HELP !!!!!
Ok so i jumped into changing the rear seal today got all the bolts undone hell the oil pan wasnt even stuck at all so i thought i was golden until i tried to get the oil pan out and theres no way to get it out i have tried ever angle possible. Am I missing something. Also it looks like its getting caught up on the the steering damper nut that hold the shock looking thing to the center link. any help and i do mean any would be great. Thnaks

I agree with frank here. Jack stand the frame, and get the front axle to go as low as posable. If you are not lifted you may want to go as far as disconecting swaybar and shocks. Make shure you use good jack stands, and maybe even double them up. 2 on each side. Your life may depend on it. Also there is an oil pickup tube in the pan. If you are getting hung up, and cant see what you are hanging up on. That is probably the problem.

Here are the pictures but i got it by moving the steering wheel to the left. The oil pan was remarkably clean i am starting to doubt that it was the rear main seal but im already under here now.

Check the back side of your valve cover. If you got a nice old cork gasket, they can get brittle and fall out in as little as a year or 2. Also those valve covers get loose real easy, so check the rear valve cover bolts for tightness by hand, shouldnt even need a wratchet. I bet you they spin.

ok so i am in the oil pan and got the lower part of the rear main seal out but the upper part just isnt coming and i dont want to score the crank shaft. the lower part looked brand new but i cant really tell on the upper. Any idea's

this is what i did to my rear main seal upper trying to get it in. Can any one tell me why this happened was i just being to rough with it?
