The 1st link below is the service manual for the AW4 transmission. On pages 28 & 29 you will see the 2WD transmission extension housing bushing inner diameter check. It calls out an I.D. of 1.4996" maximum. If it exceeds this maximum wear limit the whole housing is to be replaced. There is no procedure to replace the bushing in the Service Manual and I have not seen it in the Parts Catalog in the 2nd link. This simply will not do. Does anyone here know of an after-market repair for this housing bushing?

There was a recent post about that bushing (like within the last week) about that bushing.
look for "driveline vibe" - the O.P. replaced his bushing so maybe he can provide you apart number/source.
