i want to build something for my rig. i want to build a 4 link for rear with coil overs.....i need advice on parts, demensions, (that work well ) materials...and one more thing....i want to keep front stock so i want rear to match front specs in a way....i dont want the rear to flex more than front....i just want rid of the leafs and i dont want just coils and control arms because if i go through the trouble of buying and mounting coils and control arms i might as well build my 4 link.....eventually im going to long arm front with coil overs....any suggestions,:thumbsup:

so you want a stock front, with a 4 linked coil over rear?

play with some 4 link calculators, look into how others have mounted coilovers on their unibody xj's

link material and joint choice should be the last thing on your list as of right now

no, coil overs in front as well eventually just long arm kit just adjustable control arms etc....i basicaly want zj ste up in rear with coil overs...r i may have some new parts tonight, research where i cant find good info that i need like parts.....mounting points, angles...etc....any links handy?

well i like to get everything i need not along the way so yea rod end materials, and other parts are nessecary for me....i figure angles after i have stuff in front of me ready to mock up.. i was hoping to get input from someone running setup.....but o well i found what i needed i got all my long arm stuff for front, all for rear from a zj long arm kit...ive got no more tax money lol me and a buddy are gonna build the rear this fall. i found someone whos done it loccally and looked at his....phssssh its not complicated at all compared to what i was expecting. now tat i have the materials for linkage...i gotta win the lottery for king coil overs and hydro assist (ps 33s for now.)(fall is different. i now have a set of 37inch irocks with half tread for 175 bucks...i know you think :bs: its true. got them from a friend who took em off his truck and let them sit forever he wanted 600 last fall and i got him to 4oo in jan and he said 175 takes em if i get em tonight...lol) , now i just gotta be patient and keep collecting parts and saving for all the other goodies like new gears and lockers.....this occasional daily driver has slowly been decided to be strictly trailered rig.

that link above is awesome...really gave me some new ideas for mouning coil overs in rear cargo area ....i like that he uses long arm with coil springs in front it seems to work well with the coil overs in rear may save my money and time on front coilovers for while....he did exactly what i have in mind the stuff i have may have to be fab'ed up some but i will def be stealling the lower frame mount design for mine....
