My gal's '95 XJ sport 4L Cherokee (Aka) 'BBs Beaut Blue Beast' has a oil warning gauge problem. a lead is 'Hanging' (red, 2 socket plug) the sensor looks to about 25mm across the flats with an electrical access on the side... It appears to be broken.A search shows two types of sensors... This truck was probably 'put together' by Chrysler in Oz... It maybe a sender of differing protocol to the US machines.... So my question is in your combined experience and a million + of these Yankee Devils...+ again, the numbers of units the chinese have 'Knocked out'... What is the after market equivalant ....name ...number and source... if possible.... with Regards... Bonehunter in Oz.... (Paleo alert)... '(on the trail (old) of the big lizards)'

There are at least 2 different types of sending units, one would be for a gauge and the other for just a warning light, do you have an oil gauge?

Thanks for the reply Davida...The Beast has an oil pressure gauge...top right on the panel... The sender unit seems to be located on top of the oil filter.
