Oil Pressure Gage Reading?

I just noticed yesterday that with my engine turned off, the oil pressure gage is still showing around 25 psi. It could have been this way since I've owned this truck, I only noticed it because I was sitting in the truck listening to a new CD. Is this normal? With the engine running, it does climb to around 60 psi, and apparently the engine is getting plenty of oil. Thanks in advance for any response. |
Best bet is to purchase a 20 dollar oil pressure gauge/sender from the parts store and install that.
Or get the 3 gauge set and get temp and voltage too! Well worth the piece of mind. |
