Default Oil Pressure
Hello. So this being my first Jeep, and my first vehicle with an oil pressure gauge, I'm not sure where it is supposed to read at idle. This morning when I got out of work, the Jeep was idling at about 25psi and once I was driving, the pressure would be at 40-50psi...then once it idled, went back to 25-30psi...it didn't drop below that at all, but I just don't know. Thanks for the help in advance.

Edit: Well I found another oil pressure gauge thread, and it sounds similar to my issue...

sounds normal to me.

mine idles around the same. driving around 45 to 55.

Thanks for your response, like I said, this is the first time I've had a normal dash with an actual gauge...lol.
