Oil on plugs rough idle smoking
Hey guys i have an 01 cherokee. It's idling rough and was smoking white. I changed the plugs and it appears to be more blueish smoke. Pulled plugs and have oil on the bottom of the plugs. Blown head gasket/cracked head? What do you guys think? Isn't making any noises. No coolant in the oil.
thanks

White smoke is usually coolant, but can also be condensation. Check the oil and coolant for any mixing of the two. It might not show, but its worth a look. Oil on the plugs sounds like leaking valve seals. If its blowing smoke on both acceleration and deceleration, id say rings. Check the compression and do a leakdown test. Whats the mileage?
