Default oil leak from filter, stuck bolt?

I have to change the o rings in the 90* adapter. The t 60 torx is not moving even with a cheater bar. I took the torx bit and welded it into the middle of a 1 inch nut so as to gain clearance and use a large wrench. Even with a short piece of pipe it will not move.

Has anybody taken the motor mounts off to get a better angle for the wrench?

If so do you have to get into the transmission mounts also?

Would it help to warm up the engine first?

Idid mine about a month ago. I had to remove the engine mount bolt on the passenger side which I think was a size 18 and also the 4 rear trans bolts holding the trans mount to the cross menber. Then placed a block of wood under the oil pan and used a floor jack to raised the engine enough to put the ratchet & T-60 socket onto the tork bolt. I used a 3' piece of pipe as a cheater bar and wedged another piece of wood between the frame rail and the head of the ratchet to keep the tork socket in the bolt so it would not strip out. I had my son assist because it was a pain in the a..... Finally it broke free and it was cake from then on.

Thanks guys!

It looks simple but it sure as heck ain't going to be!

It is 1995. A friend gave it to me. It has 261,000 miles. 5 speed standard.

I figured I could put a few bucks into it and use it to go to work, fish etc.

Finally got it fixed. Had to take off motor mount bolts and trans. crossmember bolts. With the torx welded into a big nut and a extra large pipe wrench it started.
