oil filter housing removal
I have a small but annoying oil leak from the oil filter housing. I have the o-ring kit to hopefully remedy this. The screw holding it on seems to be a o torx55 or such.
My question is... how to remove this as there is no room for the driver to fit between this screw and the wall of the engine bay. tried just using a 10mm spanner on the bit
without a driver and broke the spanner. Do I need a special tool or is there some trick to this?

I punched the torx bit piece out of the socket... if that makes sense... and then used an open end wrench to turn the torx bit. It took a long time because you can only spin it a 1/2in or so at a time. Total removal, o-ring change and reinstall time was probably 30min.

I just nabbed an inexpensive set the other day for changing out my TPS. which are torx as well.
