Oil filter adapter bolt- size and type?
Hi, I have a 2000 cherokee 4.0 with a leaking 'O' ring. I have read there are a couple of options for the bolt type and size. Any one know what I have on mine.
Thanks

O ring replacement- done
After reading all the posts I used a mirror to see it was a torx bit that I needed.
Bought a torx socket with a allen nut and removed the bit from the socket. Bought a 1/2" rachet and it was pretty easy to get the bolt out with a 3' pipe over the rachet in the cold in the dark. The torx bit was hard to keep in the rachet and putting the nut back in was painful....nothing to line it up and the bolt and rachet hard to keep together.
Thanks for all the help.
