Oil around rear PCV on 4.0
First off, my Jeep is a 2000 Cherokee (duh..ha) Sport 4.0 AW4 trans. 2WD and the other day when I was checking the dipstick, I noticed that it looked like oil was coming up around that rear breather tube. I've had the Jeep 6 going on 7 mos., put 10K on it (135k present) and change my oil religiously at 3k. This is a recent problem but I have no noticeable oil leak. Dipstick is always on full, so I guess it's a very small leak. I have read some posts about the front breather tube that runs to the air filter but I don't remember anything about the rear one. What should I do about this? Any input is helpful.

Try just changing the rear PCV valve. They're 5 bucks at autozone. As far as the tube. You can get replacement tube from the parts store as well. Just ask for the proper inner diameter and how ever long you need.
