Off-road lamp relays?

Do I need to wire in a relay with just two off-road lamps rated at 100-watts each? If I don't HAVE to will it help at all (down the road even) or will it be a waste of my time?:help:

i would recomend it, the relays lighten the load through your switch, and you will get a longer life out of it.

all four pairs of mine i did without relays and they have been like that for around 6 months or so with no problems what so ever. make sure you use the correct size wire and in line fuse

that is another good way, just keep it protected by fuses so you dont burn your jeep down. seen a kid with a neon burn his car down putting in subs and an amp cause he did it wrong.

always use relays, or at least some sort of fuseable link.
