I think it maybe the alarm but maybe somone noes somthing more then me. I will start the car and check engine light will come on like always that's nothin new but the key light will turn on and on nilage it will say no bus and I will be driving it and gauges would shut off. This started 6 months ago after I got my new alarm installed mechic said it was crank sensor 250 buck then it keept on happening then it started backfireing then it stoped after crank sensor replaced so this no bus **** keeps happening what can be the problem

The common problem is the connectivity of plugs on the back of the dash.

What u mean plugs cause I don't think so cause if gauges don't work for like 10 min car shuts down and alarm goes off

i dont know about the alarm but like OnlyInMyXJ22 said most common problem is the plug. mine does the same thing (nobus) i kick all of the wires under the dash and is starts working again most of the time. The alarm might be just a reaction to the loose connection to the plug.
