odd wear pattern
was rotating my tires and noticed added wear to the inside of my right front tire only. the left side front and rears are perfect.if my toe was off ,wouldn't both fronts show wear?i did the up down side to side push pull on the tire thing but didn't feel any slop. What parts should I investigate in order of the most likely culprit?

Ball joint are suspect. Jack that wheel up and put a pry bar, pipe, 2x4 under wheel and lift up and down. Have a buddy do this while you look at the ball joints

+1 ball joint or wheel bearing. Get that tire off the ground and start shaking the wheel. You'll find out what's moving (and thus bad) pretty fast.

i've seen people take a some kind of metal or wooden bar, at least 4-5ft long, lift the front wheels, and while facing the tire put the bar under the wheel and use it as a lever, kind of like if you're trying to lift the tire even more. you will know it's the ball joint right away if there is any play.
if it's a wheel bearing you would feel it when driving. try steering left and right at low speed, if there is any weird sound or vibes in the front, it will be one or both of your bearings.

If it's a ball joint you'll feel it at 12 and 6 o clock movement, if it's a unit bearing you'll feel play in all directions. Otherwise if you grab the coil spring and spin the wheel, feel for a buzz or vibration in the spring. That's a bad bearing.

ok, ill try the pipe under tire method. I don't hear any thing turning and couldn't feel or see anything by grabing the tire and shaking it. everything looks ok by sight.hopefully the extra force with pipe will produce an answer. thank you all.
