Default O2 Sensor Problem--I think

I have a 98 Cherokee XJ.

It started running a little rough and the CEL came on. I researched a little oh here and found the 15a fuse under the hood for the O2.

I changed it, it fixed it temporarily, but it blew again.

It ran fine without a fuse in it at all, but the CEL light stayed on. I should have left it alone.

Then I put a 25a fuse in it, it went dead while running, and now won't crank back up. It didn't blow the fuse though but I took it back out and unplugged the upstream O2 sensor. The rear one is new and all the harnesses look good.

I thought I caused the fuel pump fuse to blow but it's still good. I also poured a little gas down the intake but it still won't hit.

Did I short something out with the 25a fuel pump fuse?

Thanks for any help or info.
