Trying to trace a leak on my NP242. There's fluid all around where the shifter linkage goes into the housing. Upon further inspection, it looks like fluid is coming out of the hole pictured below. If I'm not mistaken, it used to have a plug in it?

Any input?

 

The rubber plug is OEM part number 0015105. Check with a dealer to see if they have one, or Goole "Plug 0015105".

 

So not having that plug would cause the leak?

 

Absolutely.

As a matter of fact, your TC is probably out of fluid. I wouldn't drive the Heep until you can plug that hole and service the fluid.
