i was doing some more exploring in my jeep and found a random clip wired somewhere and instead of tearing apart dash was wondering if it was stock or aftermarket or even what it is.. has nothing plugged into it its gunna be on right close to ash tray .. thanks for looking and all the help..

 

I am probably wrong, but maybe where the code reader plugs in? I think that is the one hanging off to the left though.

 

Yea, In my 96 the code reader thing is on the side closer to the door.

I have read somewhere on this forum that sometimes they had a light bulb there to light up the floor area. But from my understanding that was on the passenger side. Thats the only thing I can think of.
