not starting need help
 
my 1990 cherokee inline 6 is not starting i don't know y i have replaced the ingition module, coil, fuel pump, fuel pressure sensor, fuel filter, fuel relay fuse, voltage reducer for the fuel pump, and fusable link from starter to fuel pump i don't know what else it could be it ran fine for a while after i replaced the fuel pump and other fuel parts then stopped starting i lost spark so i replaced the the other parts and still nothing. if u have any idea what it could be i would appricate any help i could get thanks.

Try grounding 1 spark plug..Remove it and lay it on top of the engine while it's still connected and ground it out...against a screw driver or something. If it sparks ur good..If it doesn't, check ur from the wires backwards.

Hi and welcome to CF. Try doing a search on "Crank position sensor" its mounted on the trans near the back of the motor and this sounds like the problem...Tj

thanks for the help guys i took my cps off to look at it an found that in the middle of the wires i had been melt at on time destroying the outside protective plastic exposing the wires to the elements and the wirs inside where corroted i went to open it to look at how bad it broke in to pieces so i am going to go buy a replacement thanks for all the help i will post later if it fixed the problem or not.
