Noob question about 5 spd Cherokee sport
 

looking to pick up a 2000 cherokee sport with an automatic tranny and 125k miles on it. My question is how hard would it be to do a 5 spd swap into the car and besides tranny and those essentials and pedals would be required for this to work properly? 5 spd ECU, etc.? any help would be appreciated thanks!!!

i wish my buddy (bigmj) would frequent this sight more often. He just did that on a Cherokee.

Im thinkin about swapin the trannies on my 2 Cherokees, i dont think it would be to difficult....

If you go into the fabrication area on Naxja there is a write up in PDF format on the conversion. Tried to attach it here but apparently its too big.

ended up picking up a 99 cherokee sport automatic. I guess I can pick up a set of pedals and the tranny with linkages, any other ideas what else I would need for this swap?
