Noisey Fuel Pump
 

This thing sounds like the rear end is humming ??? Never had this happen normally they work or don't? It's working just Loud on interior of XJ ???

I search fuel pump got zero so I asked ??

is it humming all the time while its running or just for a few seconds b4 u start it

So is mine and I have new filters and good fuel pressure....

mine is a pretty loud hummm too

This is funny, I have the same problem. Mine gets really loud when I have been on trails going up and down hills but doesn't do it when I am highway driving. I carry a new in the box fuel pump just in case.

Some brands are a little louder than others.

But I have also seen it where when it fails in a certain way, it will get loud before it completely fails.

If this noise is progressively louder, that is your clue to REPLACE it before you get stranded.

Stay away from Airtex pumps.

It's LOUD if it's ON hahahahaha so all the time ... I'm going to check fuel pressures today but that could tell me nothing also ??? Any Clues
