No start
I hope you can help. My 2000 Jeep Cherokee just recently has a new battery and alternator. While driving, my check engine light came on. The next day the car would not start. It is cranking but wont start. After trying to start it multiple times the battery started getting a little low so I tryed to jump start it. Same result, crank but no start. I have read CPS sensor failure is common and this is the direction Im leaning. Any help would be appreciated

A check engine light (CEL) that is on, is usually a very good starting point in trouble shooting.
But to give you a general idea iwth no starts (in your case a crank-but-no-start)
You need to determine of you have "no spark" or "no fuel" (or even both) leading to your no start. Diagnostics will lead the way...
But first: have the CEL read and report back what kind of code(s) they give you

Thnaks JOOMAN I'll do that this afternoon. I know everything depends on the code given as error but in order to have a plan B readily available are their any common causes for these symptoms?

Thanks Roler, as far as spark and fuel, I have not checked for spark but I do hear the fuel pump primer come on when I turn the ignition

That means nothing more than that the fuel pump gets power and is 'working' in response... However, not how well it's working: fuel pressure is checked at the fuel rail, with a gauge.

0 dtc. The code reader says 0dtc. I/m monitor status shows m, f, cc. C, O and OH are blinking. I did have a blown auxiliary fuse blown and replaced that but still no start, not even with a jump. Any ideas?

0 dtc as in zero diagnostic trouble codes. I don't want to start replacing parts without narrowing down the culprit but since I can't get it started, I can't get it to the shop. I guess I could pay for a tow but that just bothers me. I know there's only so much help that can be given over the internet but I'd appreciate any help I can get

Then it's more than likely a fuel or spark problem. Clogged fuel filter, low fuel pressure, bad plugs, bad plug wire, cap and/or rotor may need replaced. etc...
