hey everyone,
this all started last saturday. i walked up to my jeep and the rear brake lights, front side markers, and gauge cluster were flashing like hazards but alot slower. tried to start it but all i got was one click then all my gauges turned off. after that nothing happened at the turn of my key. hooked it up to get a jump from someone else, but when i turned the key, nothing. i got a roll start and went home.
took it to AZ to get battery tested but guy said it was alright. cleaned off the battery terminals and it started fine. i packed my jump starter just in case it died again. It ran and started fine for a week and a half, then today it didnt start. same behavior when i tried to jump start it, slow flashing lights and no turnover.
any ideas anyone?

 

Bad ground. Replace your main engine ground.

thanks for your response! I had my friend take a look at it and he said the battery clamps needed to be replaced. i switched them out really quick and presto! everything worked. i guess if i cleaned them and it worked for a week i should have known replacing them was a good step to take. but thanks for your help!
