hey there,
I have a jeep cherokee 99`, all it does is turn over but wont fire up, i have had the crank sensor replaced, i have changed out the ignition coil, i have replced the spark plugs and am starting to run out of ideas. I have connected a lead and spark plug to the end of the coil but no spark??? could it be the ECU or CAM shaft sensor ...what doi you think

There is a rubber insulator on the plug that leads to the coil. Without that peace of rubber its won't make the connection. If it dose it'll be really poor. Otherwise it could be a short some were or a computer issue.

The pickup coil under the distributor may be the problem, they do tend to fail after a lot of miles and heat cycles.
