Good morning and happy new year.
I have been having a problem with the heater not working in my jeep. I just replaced the blower motor this morning and did not change. I thought it was the motor because i would tap the back of it and it would start working. I checked the 40 amp fuse in the PDC under the hood and that is fine. I also checked the 15 amp fuse in spot number 25 under the dash that is fine as well. Is there any other fuses that I should be checking? I am not sure if it is the switch in the dash or something else. I also tried to tap on the relay behind the glove box but nothing happened.

I am not certain about the 98's but the older models use a resister module. Its in the passenger footwell at the bottom of the heater box. Kind of a rectangle piece with 4 screws holding it in and a big plug with wires going to it. Common fail item. Before that I would trace the heater blower wires and make sure the ground wire is clean and tight where it bolts to the body.
