Thumbs up No oil leaks

It's nice to have a thread once in a while where it seems to be going well so here's mine.

After my valve cover change and leaking oil pressure sender just over a month ago, there are no leaks to be reported. Oil level is spot on the max mark and the engine is happy.

(Please almighty Jeep gods, don't smite thee, I know you want to)

20 bucks says you'll send a connecting rod through the side of the block now. Just because.

Congrats! One of the first things I did was change out the valve cover gasket that started a slow leak near the rear of the engine. Wasn't much but I don't want so much as even one drop of oil on my driveway.

Our driveway has a number of drips around it, some from my Jeep, although not anymore and the rest, well, my dad hires out 3 VW aircooled vans and a Beetle for weddings so they always leave some form of mark when passing out of the garage and to the road. His garage has 4 nice oil marks, right under each engine. Even when rebuilt those engines never seem to be completely leak free.

With the air cooled VW, what usually leaks is the pushrod tubes. My brother found the perfect answer to that although it's quite expensive. Tube seals from a Cessna or Lycoming aircraft engine.
