No crank, no start after sitting for a while
 

2015 Cherokee Limited w 2.4 liter engine. When the car sits for a couple of days, it will not crank when the run engine button is pushed. Dash lights up, but absolutely no sound from the engine.
After pushing the button about 10-15 times, it starts right up and runs fine. It will then start normally for the rest of the day. Battery is new. Strange problem. Any ideas? Thanks.
