Hmmm... easy and cheap.... like chopped fenders? Mine's an '87 and a little beat up, but this should give you an idea of the look:

Remember to cut below where the fender mounts to the unibody. I chopped mine right at the base of that connection...cool thing is my bumper hides my s**tty cut.

Also, you can install a lift for fairly cheap following this mod guide here:
http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/...udget_Lift.htm

One thing I highly recommend (if you plan on wheeling it much) is to get some armor on there. You can generally find some at the junkyard for fairly cheap (most junkyards don't know what the hell to do with them, so they end up being priced really cheap). Skid rails are great and if you look around you can find people who'll make them for you fairly cheap (I got a set that are amazing, ran me about $200)

Lockers are a definite awesome for wheeling. I got my hands on a lock-rite locker brand new for $300 and it's made the biggest difference in wheeling performance of all my mods (second only to my rails)

If you plan on it being a pavement princess, I got set up with a pretty good stereo system for around $400 (?). I have two infinity 5.5's in the front and 6.5's in the gate ('87s don't have room for 6.5's in the front ). I also got a dual HD receiver that works great and does everything I need it to do (including woofer compatible) and has a USB, Aux, and CD player. Those run about $100 now.

None necessarily. But always keep in the back of your mind, that when it breaks, it gets upgraded.
