So im a newb with all this tire stuff, I have an 89 Cherokee stock height stock wheels. I have tried researching and it seems stock height you can run 30" tires with minimal to sometimes no rubbing. From what I understood tires always ran 245 255's so im all confused lol. I have a guy that works with a junk yard and says they have tons of tires and may be able to get me some cheap ones that will do me good. Now I need to give him a tire size so im looking to give him a beefy tire size that will fit but im not to sure what im looking for so any help or a little explanation would really help thanks in advance

 

255/75/15 are equal to a 30x10x15 tire...265/75/15 are about a 31x10.5x15 tire
