Default newb prob- 96 cherokee sport

hey, i just bought a Jeep Cherokee Sport and want a nice 3-4.5 inch suspension lift, the problem is i cant find a company that has a 96 cherokee as a search opt. i only see 87-91 Cherokee and 93-98 Grand Cherokee... would either of these lifts be an option? Which one should i look at? Or will neither of these help me out, and if so WHO MAKES LIFTS FOR CHEROKEE SPORTS?

Welcome to cf!

For lifts check out rubicon express, rough country, and rustys. Those three are going to be some of your best choices.

xj suspension has remained the same from 84-01

the only difference with lift kits you will come into is the taller longarm kits which might not work with the older 84-86 xj's due to different crossmember locations

bds, super lift and skyjacker are some more. rustys tend to squeek and RC has had occasional bad reps. rubicon express is pretty much flawless but very expensive so it may be wise to pass on them.

I've heard of that, but I thought it was for squeeky wheels!
