im going to be adjusting my brown dog motor mounts in hopes it helps my current vibes, but that rattle/knock doing idle I doubt will go away as its the shorter anchor mount causing the exhaust to hit the crossmember.... am I right?
I would buy a mount from xjwonders if I was going to replace my trans mount. I replaced mine before he was making them though.

ive had the anchor mount on for couple of months now, the small vibration i still had after was the alignment in the front tires. honest my opinion the anchor mount works good the rubber is not as most described, it is solid!

FYI. Here is a link to my comparison of Anchor motor mounts versus Omix-ADA. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/che...2/#post3162347

don't do it. lol

ive had mine in prob 2 weeks now, prob 600mi on it and its not gotten any better. the exhaust is still rattling off the damn crossmember- in park or neutral its not bad but in drive its aggressive until I get going. plus I hear it bang off the crossmember from time to time. I ordered a new OEM mount, cost $165 but its either than or a cheapie like anchor and im not satisfied with it. thankfully amazon has given me till feb to return it so new OEM one goes in next week,.

I also installed brown dog motor mounts at the same time and now I know for sure those are broken in and not causing my vibes.

same experience I had. Had the anchor in for about a week. Trashed it for a Napa drivetech mount and have been golden since.

Someone mentioned that the tranny mount install is simple with a floor jack - What about the motor mounts - are they replaceable without having fancy engine lifts and without pulling the whole engine out?

Support the oil pan with a jack and undo one side at a time. Not too bad
