new spark pligs fouled 01'
Hey everyone. Bit of a long story, but installed new plugs in the jeep and did an oil change about 3 weeks ago. I've been noticing a long hard start in the mornings or when its been sitting all day...it turns over and shutters somewhat like its not building compression. I can turn it off and on and it fires right up a second later. I though it was my check valve on the pump but the test hasn't worked. Removed the plugs and they are black. Any ideas why? My last ones are perfect and wore fine. Checked the gap and torque again. The only change was that I changed my oil from the valvoline blend to rotella t5 10w30. Could this be causing misfire on cold startups? In the process as well to clean my IAC I just have been working too much to get to it yet. I just found it strange to start at the same time. Any input appreciated thanks!

I've had it for almost 4 years...both sets I have used were champion copper. Thought it was weird myself since my commute now is a bit longer. Doesn't seem to skip a beat either while driving I've only noticed due to the cold startup issue
