the link i posted should have instructions on clearing codes you need to do this to make sure your not trying to fix a issue that was caused by the previous owner unpluging things when it was running then restart let run then check codes again and search the codes to get the trouble shooting for them

Quote: freeegdr, you are awesome i got the following codes: 14-map voltage too high or low 23-intake air temp 13-no change in map between on and off 24-TPS. so do i need to just start replacing parts all ***** nilly? @ghettojeep i replaced the o2 censor and the battery a fey weeks ago think it could be bad already?
I dont know about 'bad already' but it might have been put in wrong somehow? Does it start at all now?

i did the "50 key strokes" but it also said to leave the battery disconnected over night. aint done that one tho. this is what pops out. i started reading the service manual. i really think (in my limited knowledge) that its the TPS. gonna sell a kidney and get one and see if that helps. @ghettojeep seemed easy enough screw it in and plug it in??? did i miss something?

@ghettojeep, it was new.
so i replaced the TPC and MAP censor. it starts now but is still undrivable it surges to 2000 rpms then to 50 and will not accelerate for s**t. there is a loud sucking noise from the breather box. kinda pissed it was 100 bucks for those censors.
