Default New Rough Country 3" series 2 lift

Okay guys i was poking around on RC's website and I found that they have a new 3" kit that is an upgrade from the other 3" lift and its only about a 100 dollar difference

Heres what each kit includes

Standard 3" kit:
lift coils
AAL or new rear springs
Hydro shocks

This kit runs $256 for AAL and $510 for new packs

Series two 3" kit:
lift coils
lower control arms
sway bardrop brackets
AAL or new springs
Hydro shocks

This kit runs $345 for AAL and $610 for new packs

Now I think the series 2 kit is worth the money but i wanted to know what you all thought. Also anyone heard of these sway bar drop brackets i have never heard of such things

Thanks guys

Heres RC's website it you want to look at the kits in more depth

I just bought this kit on Sunday. Got it yesterday and going to put it on tomorrow. (3" series II with full leaf packs.)
I thought it was a good deal. I have read in another thread that the RC 3" didn't come with any brake line provisions of any sort, so be aware that you may need to address that.

The sway bar drop brackets are different. They lower the mounting position from the "frame". not at the ends. Wild stuff, looks like it will work just fine though.

i bought my first lift i had from rough country and i got in in a good time bracket. i liked their lift, but wasnt big enough for what i had in mind. wasnt bad though, and i never ordered extended brake lines until i put the six inch lift on. so i think you should be ok with the 92 xj, or at least i was.

RE and rustys sell drop brackets for the sway bar too. it just drops the frame mouting points down a few inches. nothing special. you can actually make your own with some c~channel steel or square tubing.

yes you should get extended brake lines at 3". the front hard lines can be bent down for more length. the rear can be swapped out for a 95 YJ line which is 3" longer. $20

i like the series 2 kit cuz it comes with lower arms.

Yes it's a factory oem rubber brake line, just like the one you have on your cherokee now, except prettier

You don't really need lower arms. it's optional but recommended to correct caster. I ran 3" lifts for years without lowers. People say the stock arms are weak, which i never managed to mangle any of them, so the upgrade strengthens your arms.

so with anything over 3" you should get lower controll arms?? and the T-case drop does what?? reduces the distance the slip yoke is out of the T-case? Just trying to figure out everything i need for my 4" lift im piecing together.

I think you can re-drill the hole for the track bar in the same mount. There is a post about it somewhere on here. I'll see if I can find it.

I'm getting a 3" lift on my jeep. Other than the lift kit itself (new springs, leaves, shocks), what other parts do I need? i am on a budget, so the fewer extras I have to have the better.
