Post New member....jeep cherokee uk

Hi, I apologise if I`m in the wrong place, I`m new here. I have a Jeep Cherokee 3.7 petrol 02 and am in the UK. Being female, I haven`t a clue....what a good excuse. Seriously though, my heater settings 1 and 2 have never blown but 3 and 4 blew nice and warm. All of a sudden, 3 and 4 are still blowing but only cold, even when engine`s been warm for a long time. We are under a foot of snow here, so it`s very inconvenient. Any ideas anybody?

If you can get in behind the switches and the dash thats all controlled by vacume lines and actuators, sounds like the lines could have come loose but most likeley its the switc and you should be able to find that at the junkyard if you have one nearby,good luck.

That's a common problem on the WJ's. Read this.-->>http://www.wjjeeps.com/hvac_sub_assembly.htm
And Welcome to CF.

Default RE: Heater Fan/Blower

Hi XH558- Welcome to CF! It's -15 F here in NW minnesota , so I can dig your problem. You could also just cobble in an on/off swich, bypassing the factory one. You need all the BTU's you can get. Just subscribed to BBC Online, and yes, you guys are in a world of krap. Also, block off that radiator like we do- no point trying to heat the island. Cardboard works, place directly in front of radiator, NOT the grill, that's pointless. Cut out a square or slot roughly 1/4 to 1/3 the size of the radiator, yank it out when it hits 0-5 F. Good luck! wilco40
