Default NEW Injector and ECU issue! I swear!

Ok Kids, I'll try to keep this short, because I know you're all burnt to a crisp on this topic!!!....

I've got a 97 XJ, stock mostly, but Chrysler seemed VERY confused on what parts to use, because sometimes I need 97 parts, then sometimes 96 and back parts, and then other times 98 and up parts. It's a mutt. Stupid year...

Anyway
I bought some new injectors, the neon ones, pulled my rail, took out the old ones, which were 172000 old, and... the neon ones didnt fit. The pintle cap was too big and they wouldn't seat. (Should I have just pulled it off?)

Found this guy:http://www.precisionautoinjectors.co...1&categoryId=3 and he was local.

The injectors he is selling are part #4612176 seimans injectors. They're essentially our stock injectors, but with a better spray pattern. (For older dodge minivans) Got them in and everything was BEAUTIFUL...

for about a day.

I pulled into the driveway after running it for about 30 minutes and BAM, loses most of it's power, throws the CE light and starts REAKING (I MEAN NASTY) of unburnt fuel from the tailpipe. Read the code and it's a 27, which is injector control circuit. Checked all my handywork/connections and such and it's good, and listened to the injectors and they all work.

The new injectors have an impedence of about 18 ohms while the old ones were about 15.5. This should not make too much of a difference though, right?

And........Now what?

BTW, all of you kick ***! Sorry I don't post more, been a member for a while...

Ok, drove it out and almost didn't make it home it was running so rich. HELP!!

I guess what I'm asking is does the impedence (ohms) of the injectors matter to the computer. Old crappy injectors worked fine but new spiffy ones don't and their impedence is off by about 4 ohms from the old ones.

So, any takers?

damn umm idk for injectors but for car audio 4 ohms vs 2 can make a big difference so that could be the problem, just my thoughts i have no experience with this

Just a thought, but I'd try putting the old crappy injectors back in to see if it helps.

Dude, you are so freaking right.... except... I can't find one. I mean seriously. Not a proud moment for me; I snapped earlier.
