160 isnt too bad I guess...I run that size on my Nissan Xterra and the 16's in that size def aren't cheap. They look pretty cool don't know anything about them tho.

Don't get me wrong, they look pretty aggressive. That tread pattern is probably Goodyear's second best tire behind their MTR. But that price is a little too steep to me for that kinda All-Terrain. If you're going to go that route I'd probably just buy the BFG-AT's.

I am sure they are a good tire BUT what ply rating is the sidewalls ? If they are a 2 ply sidewall they are the same green tire that Goodyear builds for all their LT tires

The adventure is a Walmart specific brand. The GY stores can't even sell it. The new AT tire for the GY stores and dealers is the Wrangler Duratrac. It's a little more aggressive, and actually pretty good off-road. It's not as extreme as the Kevlar off-road, and doesn't have the new punture resistance technology. That's just the trade-off for less $$$.

The Duratrack is the replacement for the Workhorse series tire from GY. My boss runs them on his one ton dully work truck. They do very well in the desert and on the mudflats and resist sharp rocks pretty well. I'll but the Duras on my work truck too, if they make them in a 17" wheel for my Dodge 3500 work trucks... (All our trucks are one tons, dually, service bodys and 12,000# winches...)
