New to this.. 95 xj engine code and running temp

Hi I'm new to this xj thing and I bought a 95 jeep cherokee xj, I just replaced the thermostat because it was running hotter than usual. It used to run about 225 after driving awhile or going up and incline after really having to step on the peddle.. it has 31s on 15s.. I replaced the thermostat with a 185 degree one and its running cooler but the hotter it is outside and the more I have to give it gas to go up a hill or incline it's back to running around 210 to 225.. coolant isn't low and it's not leaking..

I'm also getting to what I believe is a code 35?? I can post video of the engine light if this thread will let me... but the engine light comes on after being driven for about 5 to 10 mins right before it gets up to running temp.. but I could shut the engine off and start it again and it may or may not come back on but recently it's been coming back on?? Please help??

Running at 210 to 225 isn't horrible really. I'm in NE OH and mine runs about 210-215 most days. But normally it runs just under 210. Get used to giving it gas going uphill unless you regear. I run 31's and have to give it a little more gas to get up some hills.

However, code 35 looks to be a cooling fan relay. Sorry didn't look at that before.

So where is it located? I cannot find it in the fuse boxes? Would this be why the engine light comes on prior to running temp?
