so my tilt was loose and while dissembling i found this wire disconnected.
can i bypass it somewere.

I think those wires are for the cruise control. You can buy a new lever with the cruise control switchs and wiring brand new from NAPA.

okay another quick but important question, my jeep would shut off because the steering wheel tilt was loose, so i tightened it up put it all together and its still doing the same thing, whats causing this,
i am leaving state tommorow and hoped to have it done by now
