Default Need some help, got a new jeep

So i just got a 1990 5 speed 4.0 jeep.
The part time light is always on, unless i disconnect the vacuum pressure plug. Also its sometimes will not shift into gears. like any at all unless i turn it off. then it shifts just fine. so if any of you guys could help me out i would very much appretiate it.

for the not shifting part you might have to replace the clutch master cylinder. I know I had to and that fixed the problem for me. Mine went out slowly over time until it just quit working one day.
