Default In need of some help with a 1997 jeep cherokee!

Ok so i am going to start at the begging so please read and please give me some advice guys!!!!!!

So i went off roading muffler got tore off, ohwell now jeep is louder and runs better (figured that was good because rust was all inside muffler)....Now everytime i start/shut off jeep the catalatic converter had junk rattleing inside it so i cut it off along with my sensor that was on the muffler.

My jeep now shuts off/stalls most of the time its when i am driving slow like 10-20 mph....Once it shut off on me on the highway when i took it off cruise to slow down.

Today i was cruising and the jeep started to act like it was going to die it would idle really really low like it was gona die and i would hold the gas pedal down and i would idle low and then all sudden high rev like it was suppose to when you mash down on the gas.

So i did a tune up, put a fuel treatment in and super gas ( the best gas shell offers) and it is still doing it so now i am stuck trying to figure out what the problem is....

Also when i was doing a turn around the front end started shaking...( bad tire, bad ball joints, tie rods?)

Put the converter back on and it should run fine.

Did you get a new cat and reinstall the o2? The o2 has a lot to do with fuel delivery. Tells the engine to add for fuel or take away fuel.

Emissions laws (federal) makes it illegal to remove them anyways. Also, there is a sticky on it https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/cat...er-laws-24337/.

By a new cat and sensor.

Get a high flow to be safe. Some vendors here sell them for a great price.

Get that o2 sensor fixed. If its the one closest to the motor its pretty important.
