Need part number for BOSCH fuel pump assy, 2001 XJ
I am having a hard time finding a BOSCH fuel pump assy for my 2001 Cherokee Sport. I replaced the old one with a cheap unit and it has messed up shortly after install (two weeks), I am now wanting to go with the BOSCH full unit, don't want to just replace just the pump- need to replace the whole pump/sending/etc. assy. Any info on the right part number would be GREAT! Thanks!

Woah woah woah the pump is like 68 dollars on Rockauto ! You can buy the good Bosch pump on Rockauto and a cheaper sender with pump for less money and have a spare pump .. just an idea !

I already have a cheaper pump I just got, but the sender is not working right and dont want to mess with it. Had 1/2 a tank the other day, stopped at the gas station and put 13.5 gallons in it! I just need a "plug and play", it's worth it to me this time. But thanks for trying to save me some money. Maybe next time.

T-Cell, I just got a message from THmotorsports and they told me the same. They listed it as part #BSC-67658. I can't find this part anywhere else. I am starting to lean towards GreaseMonkey17's advice but I now will have to try to figure out how or if I can "calibrate" my sending unit. If I do that, my car will be down longer and my day will get wasted. Let me know if you find the whole unit somewhere else or what you come up with. Does anyone on here have a "calibration proceedure" for the sender for my 2001 Cherokee? 15 gal tank. I am pulling my hair out, can't believe this is so hard to find!!!

It is hard to find because it is no longer being manufactured. Amazon has 2 in stock of $ 310.00 ea I rebuilt my OEM module , using a Bosch pump only unit, and new filters and pump to tank gasket. Stay away from the aftermarket junk, or as you are finding out, you have to do it twice. If you tossed your OEM, buy the one from Amazon, return the aftermarket pump, and be done.

Glad i bought one when i did if they arent being produced anymore. Anybody know why? Some parts i can understand, but fuel pump modules? Thats a major part.
All i can think of is find someone with a 2000-2001 parts catalog and see if the parts are listed individually. Auto manufacturers often use the same parts on different models, even makes. You might get lucky that way. I have no idea if itll be cheaper or just as expensive, but its worth a look.

I looked in my '00 parts catalog. The only things listed separately are the fuel filter/check valve thing on top of the assembly, the locking ring, the seal, and what they call the BOARD PACKAGE, Fuel Level Circuit.
No assembly or fuel pump part number is listed. And I am not even sure if the level comes with the Fuel Level Circuit Board. They don't show it in the illustration.
I wonder if it is not that they don't make them anymore but not making them at the moment. Thinking Bosch, to use as an example, does not make all the fuel pumps they do make at the same time.
They have a schedule as to what pumps they make when. Cause if you notice these I can't find a fuel pump threads pop up in clusters when they do. I want to say I have seen 3 separate ones in
the last 2 months. Then you won't see them for awhile. Then all of sudden again a cluster of them will pop up. So on and so forth.
Just a theory though.
