Default Need opinions or advice

Hey I got a 98' Xj 4.0 and recently I've run into a problem, after I've driven the jeep awhile (20+minutes) when I try to start it it won't turn, I hear a little click from the inside fuse box. It won't work in park or neutral, however sometimes if I roll it a distance it will start right up, it seems to be happening more frequently, and it's starting to annoy me, I'd appreciate your help

Battery and Alternator are your first questions, both are easy to get tested at the parts shop.

After that I would think its a temperature sensor problem (a sensor reading off) so it thinks you are too hot and wont turn on until it resets. My 95 used to do that. Id park, run in somewhere, and it would not start. If I was in a place 15 minutes, it would start right up.

Im sure you will get more opinions.

Wheeler - Nope, it would act like a deadish battery [dash lights, buzz, but try to crank and 'click']. Let it sit. litterally on the side of the road for 10-15, start right up perfect.
It was worst if I drove in our fair Denver traffic at 20mph for 20 minutes, Id get to a light finally, and it would stall out. Thats where the problem would start.
Id push it out of the way, sit down and smoke a bowl with whomever pushed me over to the side, and start it 10 minutes later. I replaced the sensor on the thermostat housing, and that fixed it right up.

NSS, CPS, TPS, if its a 'TLA' and a Sensor, check it.
