Its the first elbow connection to valve cover on the 4.0 i6. Its cracked and not sealing. I believe the 4.0 is missing because of this broken part. Went to local parts store but they don't have this part. Also went to junk yard and no luck. Any ideas what's this called? Or were I can find it. Again its the first connection then you have oil cap then you have a pcv valve at the end of the valve cover.

It's part of the ccv system... Seems we all have issues with them eventually. Hit up your local dealership and replace the whole shebang pretty cheap.

 

Dealership. ..never thought about them. What's a good price$ for the ccv system? What's ccv stand for?

 

I haven't priced them myself, but I've been told from $20-$35 depending on where you are... But that's the whole system in a kit. Do a google search and you can just get the part # and get it from your local napa. I gotta do mine soon too.
Can't remember exactly what it stands for... Crank case ventilation?????

 

Yeah it's crank case ventilation, napa sells it in two pieces one from the VC to a tower thing and another from the tower thing to air box and other misc. things, it's $18 and change a piece. Don't know the number but I've got it buried somewhere in my subs. I'll try to find it.

 

found it on rockauto.com and this one is for the little one coming from the back of the valve cover. hope this helps

Also thats the cheapest your going to find it. If you get all parts (both vacuum harnesses, ccv hose, and ccv gromet) even with shiping (ground 3-4 bussiness cheapest) it comes to $53.96 (BTW if you use this link your gonna need to change the zip). Everyone else is about that for just the two harnesses
